Ganesha Festival 2013

Here are some of the pictures from our Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations this year at home!

The ganesha idol that we made at home using AMACO brand air dry clay. This is our 6th year of making one and we love it every year.

 This is the idol that Putti made at the clay workshop conducted by a friend.  She sure was proud of it.

 The 'pillari ganesha' made with turmeric and grass and also the silver ganesha idol.

 Some of the food prepared and offered to the Lord Ganesh.

 The day ended with arati and 'visarjane' ie, immersing the idols in water.
