Easy Kids Craft - Easter Scratch Art

Looking for an easy craft for the kids to celebrate Easter?  Presenting our Easter Scratch Art !

 To make your own Easter scratch art, you will need: 

• Scratch Art Paper
• Egg-shaped cookie cutter and other Easter cookie cutter you have 
• wood stylus or wooden dowel, tooth pick, back of a paint brush
• scissors, doilies, glue and dot markers (optional, but totally cute).

 Invite your child over for some Scratch Art fun. Putti had loved the Valentine Scratch Hearts and her eyes sparkled when she saw these. She first traced around the cookie cutters and then decorated by scratching with the wood stylus however she liked. Scratching the paper reveals lots of lovely colours underneath.

Here are the two cards she made. Btw, that is 'I Love Jesus' - her J is a mirror image lol.

 After making a couple of these, I traced the outline of the egg-shaped cookie cutter on the back side of a sheet of Scratch Art paper and cut out the shapes. She then got to decorate some Easter Eggs!

She loved having the freedom to decorate her Easter Eggs however she wished.

And I couldn't resist making a few of my own along with her!

I glued these to Egg shaped doily that I had and I think they look lovely.

Putti wanted to color the doily and she used dot markers to colors these. These make lovely decorations or can be handed over as cards, just write the message on the back of these scratch paper.
