Putti had a very fluttery 5th Birthday with the beautiful theme 'Butterfly'. Please do click on each link to visit the individual post for more details on how to.
My little Butterfly :)
Birthday girl in her butterfly shirt, pant, hairband, finger ring and pendant!
As soon, as the kids came in Putti ran to greet them in and took them to write their names on the butterfly guest sign in poster.
Next, the kids sat down to color their butterfly gift bags with crayons.
Once they finished coloring they were given these butterfly favors to fill their colored bags in.Next, the kids sat down to color their butterfly gift bags with crayons.
Here is Putti posing with her butterfly fan. Had plans of getting all the kids hold their fans for a photo, but totally forgot about that :(
Then it was time to eat. There was pizza, chips, cheetos, cookies and many butterfly themed foods for the kids and adults to enjoy!
After the food, kids played butterfly games like - stick the antenna on butterfly and pass the butterfly.
It was then time for the Pinata! Being indoors we opted for a pull string one. I wanted all the kids to have a turn in pulling, so thought it was best to have all of them pull at once. Boy, it sure was fun!!
Time for birthday cake. I had plans to get a white forest cake from our favorite Italian pastry shop and then decorate it with and butterflies. But, due to the viral fever cancelled that and went in for good old publix cake!
Since the party was on her birthday itself, we first did an arati to my girl to ward off any evil eyes. Then she made a wish, blew her candle and cut her cake :)
Posing with her daddy :)
All the kiddos join Putti for a group photo! Boy, isn't it hard to have all of them looking at the camera.
Kids loved the birthday cake and the butterfly cupcakes. You see the butterfly table ware here which I got from oriental trading. And then after biding bye to all her little friends, she came home to open her gifts wrapped in butterfly gift wraps.
