Putti and her friend enjoyed making these Fall Trees and I love how they turned out. Who knew some dollar store foam stickers could make such a beautiful work of wall art.
These trees are very similar to the Heart Tree that Putti made during Valentine's day. Thanks to the foam stickers from dollar tree. 200 leaf shaped stickers for a dollar, isn't that awesome.
Supplies needed for Fall Tree:
- brown or green paper
- leaf shaped foam stickers (or could cut out leaves from various colored papers)
- thick paper or cardstock
- glue
- a pencil
- newspaper to cover work area
Then each girl chose the leaves they want to use for their tree. Putti picked oak and her friend maple leaves. I purposely removed most of the green ones from the lot. Then the girls traced her palms and part of their arms onto the brown construction paper and cut it out which became the stem.
Later on, they glued the stem to the white cardstock.
Next the two girls loved peeling the back of the stickers and putting them on their tree stems.

Simple crafts always end up being our favorites too! These are very cute!
What a great project! Love the books to go along with it! (Visiting from SITS)
I love this idea!
I think Little A will have a BLAST putting the stickers on this project. With Little A only being 19 months, I think that I'll probably have to do some of the work ahead of time but this will definitely be fun. Thanks for the post.
Oh they look beautiful I love the head for the tree thanks.
Thanks for linking to the Sunday showcase.
