30 Ideas to Upcycle Toddler Art and Scribbles

Ever since Putti started holding a pencil/ crayon she has loved to scribble, well she still does!!! And I've been hoarding all those scribbles. Also all those loads of random brush stroke painting, finger paintings, filling up the entire page with paint painting etc pile up very fast too. I just cannot bring myself to thrash all of it. I really wish I could save them all, but I can't. I try to upcycle most of it by:
  • Using it as a gift wrap especially the easel paintings /scribbles.
  • Cut them up to make gift tags
  • Cut and laminate to make book marks and giveaway as gifts to little friends
  • Use them for practicing cutting with scissors
  • Let Putti cut them into pieces and make a collage
  • Laminate or place it in between 2 layers of contact paper to make a placemat.
Wish I had a post to show you all of these, but I am sure you get the idea!! You know these can also be put to good use for the house. You can make cards for any occasion you need and you can make wall art for your kiddos room using their own artwork!!! Want to know how?
I have a list of  30 Ideas to Upcycle Toddler Art and Scribbles!!! And Believe me, its not just limited to these, use your imagination and you can make more!

This is awesome! Thanks for sharing! I have so many toddler scribbles waiting to be upcycled.

great ideas!

i cut squares of my nephew/niece's art and placed into drink coasters (the ones that hold photos).

These are fabulous looking and are worthy of much adoration. I encourage all music classes for toddlers to put an emphasis in DIY activity crafts such as this to make the most out of children's potential.

Hi,

What a wonderful way to instill DIY at an early age and showcase even more Putti's masterpieces. I hope other moms are inspired by your inspiring, thoughtful projects.

Thanks.
