Nature Art- Leaf and Stick People!

Putti loves to collect lots of natural items such as pinecones, leaves, rocks, acorns, grass, flowers, etc when we go for our morning walk around our apartments. Most days, the leaves are brought home to make crayon rubbings like these. And on some days, we sit down near a cool place and create some faces/ names just some abstract design. Other days we get them home to make animals or leaf family. And many a times, they just add up to the ever growing collection of items, like pine cones, sticks, acorns, stones which pile up in our little patio.
Last week, On one such morning Putti sat down and created these people! Putti loved making them and infact this was her second day of making, the previous day I had not carried a camera with me.  These are some of the people she made.

And then asked me to make a flower for her... She joined too and we completed this

So sweet. Unfortunately we are in Bangalore in a flat and no leaves to play with!!

unique and good. You have got good creativity. Happy to follow you :-)

Nice Nature Art. CJ also does the same when we go for a walk. She gets twigs, rocks and leafs. She puts the rocks in a cup and pours water into that. She names her recipe as Rock soup:-)

These are beautiful, Roopa. Putti is such a curious and creative kid. I'm sure she and Pari would have made amazing twosomes had we been neighbours... :)

@Dr Sonia S VI understand, what you say! Sad that namma bengaluru is no more a green city:(
You could try it when u visit a park or maybe even with artificial leaves..

@Mira Thanks for the nice words! And thank you for the follow, now off to check ur blog:)

@Estheraah thats so cute, love the name 'rock soup' :)) Reminds me of my childhood days when we used to make mud pies, stone curry and what not :D

Thanks

@MommyLabsThank you Rashmie!! Aaah that would have been so much fun for both the girls and us too, how I wish :)

Are you on Flickr? If so, you should think about adding these to the Land Art for Kids group, which is just for this kind of artwork.

I find this hilarious for some reason, but I love it too! Art in such an unexpected place - and the detail in your 'drawings' is incredible! Love it! I had to include these in my features this week for Art without Paint on It's Playtime! this week.
