These beautiful stars/flowers are so easy to make and putti loved making them !!
) and paper. Hold a straw in one hand. Put one blade of the scissors inside the straw and cut a straight line through the straw. Make more cuts. Fold back the cuts and it looks like a star. Make couple of these as the flowery prints are good only when the straw is 'new' and after a couple of stampings, the prints aren't very neat!
Next putti wanted to make some smaller ones, so I cut the straw ends slightly smaller
and we realised it gave better results ...
Then I showed her how these can become the center of a flower, by drawing petals around it. She loved to make some..
